I think these portraits are just brilliant. 

These photographs by  Sam Gellman document the September 2011 North Korean Mass Games. Sponsored by the government, the Mass Games is an intensely choreographed performance including around 10,000 North Koreans. The performance highlights the North Korean focus on the value of the group in contrast to the individual. The performers, sometimes chosen to participate during their childhood, are given a job and income for life.
